WORLD BOOK DAY – THURSDAY 7TH MARCH 2024

Our Pupil Council have met and discussed a few ideas regarding World Book Day.

They would like to do the following:

  • Bring your  favourite book to school
  • Bring 3 props that would describe your favourite book or favourite character from a book
  • Have a Book Swap – bring a book (or 2!) from home that you have read and swap it for a different book

We will be designing book marks, book covers and quizzing and reading in school!

There is also a special lunch menu that day which is book themed:

  • BFG Burgers
  • Gruffalo Goujons
  • Willy Wonka Wedges
  • Hungry Caterpillar Corn / Princess Peas
  • Charlie’s Chocolate Cake

All pupils have been issued with the World Book Day token and books are available in supermarkets etc.
