Good Morning everyone.
It’s Wednesday ,here is today’s blog and our link to some learning. Remember it’s just a little bit of do what you can when you can. I know sometimes it can be hard sharing a laptop or tablet so be kind and try your best!. Even reading a book or playing a game with someone is still all about learning and taking turns .

Good morning Primary 1,
Thank you so much for sending pictures of your completed activities. You are all working very hard! Well done to all the Adults and families helping the children with their set tasks. Fingers crossed we will be back at school soon. Mrs Carey and I miss the children very much and are looking forward to seeing all the children back in the classroom. We have been looking at the 7 days of the week and the 12 months of the year. Mrs Carey has been looking at seasons with you so today we are going to link the months and seasons together.
Wednesday 13th January – P1L and P1R Maths copy
I can’t wait to see your completed tasks. Remember to take breaks between activities just like we do at school. Have fun!
Hugs from Mrs Cuthbertson xxx

Good Morning Everyone,
How are you all today? Sadly, the snow has all gone and the snowmen have melted but the sun is now shining and it is much safer to go outside into the garden, if you have one, now that the ice has melted away. I hope that you are able to go outside for a wee while today to enjoy some fresh air.
Thank you to everyone who has been sending e-mails in GLOW or messages via MS Teams. Soon, we will be learning a bit more about how to use MS Teams – watch this space.
Today you will find your activities detailed in the Word Document below. I have also added a link to a PowerPoint presentation which will help you with your ICT activity today. Many of you already know how to attach documents to an e-mail, but this presentation will give you a few hints and tips just in case you are not sure.
P5 Wednesday 13th January 2021
P5 Attaching a Word Doc to an email
As always, if you have any questions, send me an e-mail and I will do what I can. Remember that there is a form on the School App which can be used to raise any problems with GLOW logins or other technical issues. If a Grown-Up can submit the form, then someone from School will be in touch to help as soon as possible.
Take care everyone and stay safe,
from,
Miss Steedman

Hello P3 and Happy New Year to you all 🙂
I will be posting daily activities for you to do from Tuesdays – Fridays. I know that some of you were working very hard yesterday so keep up the good work, and try to do what you can.
You can get in touch with me at maureen.mcmillan@eastayrshire.org.uk if you need any help, have questions or just want to let me know how you are getting on.
Ive set some work for you on Education City and also on Giglets. The instructions for you to get onto Giglets are in the link for your daily work.
There are also some other great sites you can have a look at – try to keep active and have a go at PE with Joe, BBC Bitesize have some good programmes on TV and Topmarks is a good site for some games online.

Good morning Primary 2B,
Hope we all got off to a good start yesterday. Please remember to email me how you are getting on or if there are any questions/concerns – jaclyn.baillie@eastayrshire.org.uk
Today’s home learning tasks are spelling and reading comprehension for literacy (the reading was originally going to be on giglets/oxford owl but we will start that next week instead I did a whole class task on Education City – can you please check that you can get on to Education City and let me know if there are any issues). Maths will also be on Education City and thought we could end the afternoon with some PE to get us moving. Please click the link below to access the home learning tasks.
Good luck with the tasks and if you need anything please email me,
Miss Baillie

Good morning P7,
How lovely it was to hear so many of you yesterday during our activity on Teams! If you tried to join the meeting but were unsuccessful please let me know via email and tell me what was happening on your screen so that I can see if I can help for next time.
Today, I’m hoping you will be able to join me at 2pm again for a discussion in one of our topic channels on Teams – no actual ‘meeting’ today, just typing comments in response to my questions and building on each others answers live.
At the end of this post you will find a link for today’s daily diary which you can also find in Teams under general posts.
I have returned yesterday’s assignment to you and you should be able to access any comments by looking in the ‘Grades’ or ‘Assignments’ section.
Any problems, please send a wee message and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible during the school day. If you have forgotten any login details or are having other difficulties with remote learning, please complete the form found in the school blog and a member of staff at the school will be able to help you.
Have a great day!
Mrs J
