Hi P3
I hope you are all well and adjusting to doing your learning a bit differently. I know lots of you are working really hard so well done!
Did you manage to get some exercise yesterday? I did PE with Joe and I have to say I am feeling it in my legs this morning 🙂 Hopefully the weather will get a bit better and we can all get outside for some fresh air and to get moving.
I’ve posted your spelling words again here as you will need them for an activity today. Keep practising them ~ I’d like you to test yourself on your words tomorrow. Spelling words
I know lots of you have been on the activities I’ve set for you on Education City, try and have a look if you’ve not tried them yet. There are 2 for maths and 2 for language.

How has your week been so far? For me it’s been a bit strange but I’m getting back into a routine as best I can! Today I’m going to give you a few home learning tasks for today. Hello Primary 2B,
I hope you are having a good week so far. Thank you to everyone that got in touch and emailed me yesterday to let me know how you are getting on and how your Christmas break was. I enjoyed hearing from you all as I know you miss being in class as much as I do. Although, I have to say I am very impressed with the work everyone has been doing and remaining positive! We really are just the most FANTASTIC class! 🙂
Remember to take breaks and make sure you get some fresh air. I have been going on walks every day just to get out of my flat for a little while. Helping around the house and playing games etc are also teaching you life skills such as responsibility and sharing.

Good Morning Everyone,
How are you all feeling today? How are you getting along with the BLOG and Home Learning? A few of you have had problems opening the attachments in the BLOG, if you have this problem, please let me know or ask a Grown-Up to submit a Problem Form which can be found in the App.
Today, we are hoping for a nicer day because it was so gloomy when I looked outside yesterday – it was wet, windy and dark because of all the grey clouds in the sky. Let’s hope for a thrilling Thursday when we can all go outside for a wee while to get some fresh air and enjoy the sunshine.

There is also a document which you will need for the Interdisciplinary activity later. You can either find it on our MS Teams page (HPS P5 2020 2021), under Class Notebook, or you can open it here.
I would really like you to try accessing the document from MS Teams as we have to start using Teams to share school work in the next few days… so if you can all practise today, that would be super duper. The picture in MS Teams is also much easier to read so will be much better for you to use.  Let me know how you get on either by sending a wee note to our Teams Chat, or by e-mail.

Good morning everyone,
I hope you all enjoyed your activities yesterday. Thank you for the photos that you have sent to Mrs Carey and myself. We love to see your wonderful work. Well done everyone. Hopefully the weather will be a bit nicer today and you can get outside for some fresh air.
We have been learning all about the days, weeks, months and seasons. Today we will put them all together and look at the calendar year. Thursday 14th January P1L and P1R Maths
Take your time and enjoy the activities. In the afternoon we will be learning all about The Lost Sheep. It is a lovely story which I am sure you will enjoy. Finally it will be fun time with Cosmic Yoga.
