Using a Microsoft Teams Meeting is like inviting someone into your home. You need to think carefully about the view from your web camera and how you are set up at home for learning online. Here are some top tips.

Hello Primary 2B! 🙂
I hope you have all had a fantastic weekend and were able to do some nice things. I went a walk at weekend and saw a tractor and had to take a picture of it for you as it reminded me of our farm topic.

I hope you are all ready for another week of home learning. Remember to take breaks, get fresh air and don’t try and do all tasks at once. Contact me if you need anything – jaclyn.baillie@eastayshire.org.uk

Hello P6W,
Welcome to our second week of online learning. I hope you all had a lovely weekend and a chance to unwind.
As I mentioned in Friday’s blog, I have posted today’s home learning tasks and resources on MS Teams. Go to ‘Files’ then click on ‘Class Materials’. The folder for today is at the top. I have also put the links below if you can’t access the work on Teams.

Hi Primary 4. I hope you are all very well and enjoyed your weekend.
I would like to have a wee catch up Teams meeting with you all at 10am, just for about 30 minutes. It would be brilliant if you can come!
Please find below today’s work. If you need to ask anything you can email me or add a message on Teams.

Take care,
Mrs Fx

Hello everyone!
Hope you had a lovely weekend and managed to rest up and recharge ready to tackle another week of home learning. Here are your tasks for Monday 18th Jan 2021
Edit your ICT task for today was login in to your glow account and following the steps to send me an email. I am now aware that you do not have glow logins at home so please instead, familiarise yourself with the keyboard by typing some messages out on a notes app or on word and seeing if you can speed up the more you try and get to know where the letters are.
If you have any questions then please email me – dimitra.paraskeva@eastayrshire.org.uk
Have a super duper day!

Hi Everyone
Another new week of learning at home. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and did some nice things at home. Last week we learned about doubles and addition and learned our common and phoneme words. This week we will do a bit of the same with our new phoneme and common words to help us get really good at spelling and reading. I have put on 2 links below ,the top one is for literacy and numeracy and the bottom one has lots of choices for some things you can perhaps do with a grown up. We have added a Scottish poem for you to learn as it will soon be Burn’s Night . Have a go! Remember you don’t need to do everything , just a little bit when you can.

Good Morning Everybody,
Welcome to another week of discoveries and learning. I hope that you have all had the most wonderful weekend, even if it was a bit soggy with all of the rain.
Today, there are 2 documents for you, as always on a Monday 1) Spelling and 2) Today’s activities.
To complete your Art/Music activity, you will need to click on the link below and follow the instructions which can be found in today’s Activity Document.

As always, do keep in touch either via e-mail or, this week, try to send me a wee note on MS Teams…. we will be using MS Teams a lot more often, so it would be great if you could access it to join in the class conversations. A few of you have already been doing this, which is brilliant.
Take care everyone and have a marvellous Monday,
from, Miss Steedman
