Hi P3 how are you all today?
Well done to everyone who submitted their reading task answers on Giglets yesterday. You all did well. I hope you enjoyed reading the book and remembering what you had learned about the water cycle. Today BBC Bitesize daily has a programme on at 9.20 about the water cycle.
We are continuing to learn about money this week, remember to keep practising the activities in Education City. You could try and set up a little shop at home with some price tags. If you don’t have coins you could make some paper coins and set out the correct amounts to buy your items.
Did any of you try having a go at the Nessie poem? I know it’s quite tricky with the Scottish words.
Your words for this week’s spelling are here Weekly spelling words 18.1.21
And the link for today’s tasks is here P3 Wednesday 20th January
Hope you have a good day, take plenty of breaks and try to get some exercise.

Hello Primary 2B! 🙂

We are half way through the week! Remember to take breaks throughout the day. I need to tell you about a funny thing that happened to me today. I decided to go my daily walk after lunch as a break before I got back to work and you all know how clumsy I can be. Well I had a bit of a disaster during my walk. I saw a big hill and really wanted to see what the view would look like from up the top. Can you guess what happened? Silly Miss Baillie lost her footing and slid all the way down the big, muddy hill. I was covered head to toe in mud and had to do a 30 minute walk back home passed lots of people looking like I went for a bath in a muddy river. I hope you are all taking more care than me!

Here is your home learning tasks for today.
Here is the video for the first spelling task for all groups.
Have a fantastic day! 🙂

Good Morning Primary 5,
How are you all today? Thank you so much for trying really hard to work with our new Teams software yesterday. I hope that you are finding your way around it without too many problems. Today we will be using it a bit more, so that we can all become more familiar with how it works. I am also learning about it so we’ll take it step by step, together.
Today, there are 3 documents for you to read through. The first has all of your activities for today and can be found by clicking on the link below:
P5 Wednesday 20th January 2021

There are also 2 more documents which you will find in Teams.
Go to Files > Class Materials > HWB – to find the Spot the Difference picture (a clearer version than the one attached here).
Go to Files > Class Materials > Literacy – to find the letter which you need for your Literacy lesson.
As always, if you have any problems let me know.
Take care and good luck with Teams today everyone,
from, Miss Steedman
