Good Morning Everyone, Happy Friday to you all!!!
Hurray! It’s Friday and you have all worked so hard this week… Brilliant!!
Today you are all invited to a Teams Meeting at 11am. Check your e-mail for a Meeting Request inviting you to our Teams Meeting. Click Yes or No to say that you can or cannot attend, then I will know how many of you will be there. You do not have to switch on your camera at the meeting, so please do not worry about that.
There is also an experiment for you all today. I am going to post your Activities on Teams today. Follow the instructions below to find the details…..
Go to Teams > Class Notebook > Click on the 3 books icon (2 books with one leaning on it – I tried to paste a picture in here but it wouldn’t let me…)
Click P5 Resources > P5 Friday 22nd January 2021
I know that some of you have had problems accessing the word documents, so I have copied all of the details into this Class Notebook for you to find your work for today.
As of Monday, this will be where your Daily Activity Documents will be posted instead of as an attachment to this blog. I can show you more about this at our meeting at 11am today.
I have also attached your Activity Document here, but please try to access it from Teams first, then let me know if you have any problems.
I look forward to hearing from you at 11am – don’t forget to reply to your Meeting Request in your e-mail.
Have a fabulous Friday everyone,
From, Miss Steedman

Hello Primary 2B!
Another week almost done! Big thank you for all of your hard work and for emailing me your work and checking in! It always brightens my day to hear from you. Remember to take breaks while working and get some fresh air if possible! It’s good to refocus your brain and make work a bit easier.
We have are usual phonics and spelling work today. We are also looking at adjectives today and finishing off our length measurements. Some music today, we weren’t allowed to sing at school but we liked listening to songs in class so me can take advantage of being at home and being able to sing. Today your challenge is to make musical instruments maybe your whole family can and you can perform as a band to your favourite song 🙂
Have a fantastic weekend when it comes. I hope you all get up to lots of nice things.
Please click the link below for today’s home learning tasks. All YouTube videos needed are below
First video – Literacy task 1 (Blue spelling group)
Second video – Literacy task 3 (Adjectives)
Third video – Expressive arts (music)

Hi P3
Hope you are all getting on well, I miss seeing you. Thanks for all the work and pictures you’ve sent me, it really does cheer me up and I’m very proud of how hard you are working.
Bitesize daily has a maths programme on today about giving change – which is nice and handy because we will be coming onto that in our maths money topic.
Keep practising your spelling words – I’ve seen some creative ways to practise, remember you can try making your spelling words in lots of different ways. The link for them is here
The weather is not looking so good today but try to get some exercise even if it’s inside. There may be a bit of help in one of your maths tasks 🙂
Have a good day, and do your best P3 Thursday 21st January
Mrs McMillan 🙂
