Good morning Primary 1, I hope you managed to watch the video of the pandas playing in the snow it was lovely seeing them have such fun. Well today we are looking at the animals in the park having fun with Percy ‘One Snowy Night.’ Please try to draw and write a book review of this story. I will upload a link for the book review and a board game you may like to play with your family if you van print it off.
How are you all feeling today? I know the weather hasn’t been great but hopefully it dries up a little so we can get out for some fresh air.
I hope you can join me today for our next live lesson today at 1:30pm. More details about the meeting can be found on today’s activities. See you there!

Great to see some of you yesterday and your happy smiling faces.
Today we have got some reading from Oxford Owl and more phoneme practice. In maths we are looking at adding totals of money with coins and an addition strategy, and for our topic we are taking a look at potatoes 🙂
Hopefully you are managing to get some exercise, even though the weather has not been very nice.
How are you today? I hope you managed your tasks and activities yesterday and are ready for today’s home learning.
As usual, you will find the daily programme in Teams > General channel > Class notebook > content library. There are two resources in today’s Class Materials folder which you will need for your writing task.
I hope you will be able to join me later for our first Live Audio Meeting at 2.00pm (14.00). Just go to the Interdisciplinary Learning channel, click on Live Audio Meeting then click join. I’m looking forward to catching up with you later.
Remember to send me your finished tasks if you can. It’s always great to see your work and give you feedback on your learning.
The weather has been horrible the last few days. Like me, you will be staying indoors nice and warm. Let’s keep our fingers crossed the weather gets better. Our maths today is all about skip counting in 5’s.
I hope you are having a great week so far! Today we are going to do our usual phonics and common word work as well as some reading. No Chilli Challenge today instead you have a counting challenge and we will be exploring the months of the year! We will also be looking at food and how certain foods are associated with cultural holidays and countries.
Remember to take lots of breaks and email me if you need anything at all or to update me on your progress or send photos – jaclyn.baillie@eastayrshire.org.uk I always love hearing from you and will try and get back in touch as soon as I can. I have had a lot of photos over the weeks which has been lovely and it’s nice hearing how you are getting on.
How are you all today? The storms may have stopped us from getting out and about over the last few days but you are all doing so well and I have had a lot of fun reading your amazing stories about Charly and Bob-e which have cheered me up. Thank you.
Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our live Numeracy lesson. the next part will take place at 9.45am this morning – I look forward to catching up with you all then.

Your Interdisciplinary activity link can be found below and also in the Class Notebook document. It’s an episode of Operation Ouch to watch carefully with some questions to answer afterwards .
As always, if you have any queries, do let me know.
I look forward to seeing you all at 9.45am for our Numeracy lesson,
