P6W: Monday 8th February 2021

Happy Monday Primary 6W,

I hope you had a lovely weekend.  It was nice to get out for some fresh air even though it was very cold.  I look forward to finding out what you did at the weekend in your Daily Writing task today.  You can also check in on Teams in the general channel conversation box.

Today’s learning programme is in the Class Notebook > content library.  There are resources for the topic task in Files > Class Materials > folder pinned at the top.  This will be the last week of our Victorians topic and today we will be watching the final episode of ‘Maggie’s Diary’.  I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did. I have set an assignment for you on Teams > Interdisciplinary Channel relating to this episode.

How are you getting on with STEM Challenge 2?  There will be an opportunity for you to show your creation at one of our live Teams meetings this week.  Dates and times to follow.

P2B – Monday 8th February

Good morning Primary 2B! 🙂

I hope you have had a lovely weekend. I cannot believe we are on week 4 of home learning! Give yourselves a massive pat on the back for all of your hard work so far. I had quiet weekend, caught up on house work, watched a new TV show and took Benji out on a big walk. I cannot wait to hear what you got up to when we meet on Tuesday on Vscene. Hope you can make it. It was lovely seeing your faces last week and getting to catch up and play games.

Remember to take breaks and get some fresh air!

Monday 8th February – P1 Maths

Good morning Primary 1,

I hope you had a lovely weekend. It was much drier so I hope you managed to get outside and do something nice. I managed a walk along the beach with my dogs Buddy and Tess. It was good fun. This week we are going to explore and investigate 3D shapes and 2D shapes and how they link together. I hope you enjoy the activities.

P5 Monday 8th February 2021

Happy Monday Primary 5!

I hope that you are all well and have had a wonderful weekend.  It was dry enough to enjoy a walk each day in the fresh air which was a blessing.

Your Spelling Assignment can be found in the Literacy channel on Teams.  When you have completed your work on a Word document or in your jotter.  Please upload the Word Document or a photo of your work into Teams.

Your Art activity today is a bit of a challenge.  You will need to use the hand which you don’t normally use to write with.  I think that it will be a lot of fun trying to identify your pictures.

P2M Monday 8th February 2021

Hi Primary 2

Another Monday morning! Hope everyone is feeling good and enjoyed the weekend. As usual there are a few things for you to have a go at learning this week ,remember you can choose , don’t feel you have to do it all. We have a new phoneme this week which is qu and we are going to investigate  odd and even numbers . Do you remember what a fact family is ?We looked at them last week !We will have another wee practice at them this week too.
