This week we have been learning how to sort items in different ways. We are getting really good at it so we have started to sort using Carroll Diagrams. Help us look for things to sort at home.

We have been using something in maths called Numicon. It is helping us with lots of concepts. We have done addition stories, pattern, symmetry and counting. It’s great fun and a fantastic visual for understanding numbers.

We have been working on using wow words in literacy. We wrote some lovely stories about Mr Potato Head. We are good  at using adjectives . Come and read our stories in class.

P7 have been using “Rigour Maths” – a children’s newspaper page related to current media news that challenges children to solve mathematical problems. Excellent problem solving P7!
