Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a good weekend.
*Please remember to check your child’s bag for letters, work to keep at home, word cards and homework tasks in their diaries*

Your child has a Scots verse poem to learn at home. Primary 2 are learning ‘Mince and Tatties’ and Primary 3 are learning ‘Nessie’

We are working on these in class but children should be learning them at home too. We will be choosing 3 finalists per stage this week for the competition on the 10th of February.

If you’ve had the chance to talk about an exciting idea that your child has come up with for our engineering competition, help them to draw a labelled diagram and bring it in before the end of March.

This week we will be learning about Chinese New Year, finishing off our block of work on fractions, continuing work on phonemes and blending, adding to our dance routines in PE and lots more!

Here are some highlights from last week…..
