This week in primary 1 we have been working very hard on our sounds and numbers. We have been learning all about the sound ‘s’ and we are beginning to develop our phonological awareness by looking at rhymes. We have began to explore counting to 10 and we have been looking at 3D shape too. We have also enjoyed reading stories and playing outside with our friends.

This week at home why not try to ‘number spot’ around where you live. Look for numbers on doors or on road signs etc. You could also try counting the number of stairs in your house or if you are out and about.

Hope you enjoyed sharing stories and discussing characters last week!
