P7F Week Beginning 16th May

Happy Friday!

It’s been another busy week in P7 and the pupils have all worked incredibly hard. Thank you for your continued support for the personal projects. These are due Wednesday 25th May and I’m really looking forward to reading them!

Maths

In maths, we have focused this week on multiplication and the pupils are getting more confident using their strategies. Next week we will be moving onto division so keep practicing those tables!

Literacy

For our novel Divided City, we have read on and also explored the history behind the two football clubs. This was very interesting and generated lots of good discussion. We also wrote a discursive piece investigating if Scotland was the best country in the world to live in.

IDL

We have been working on our personal projects and continuing to learn about healthy choices. We explored food nutrition labels and could compare the information on the labels to help us make informed choices.

In PE, we have been learning the Slosh and doing more gymnastics. This week we focused on jumps and rolls and will be building these skills into sequences next week.

Have a lovely relaxing weekend everyone!
