Term 1 has flown by in P7.  Everyone has worked hard and we’ve had lots of fun along the way! Here is a round-up of what we’ve been up to.

Maths & Numeracy:

-we have developed understanding of place value up to and beyond a million.

-we have used rounding to estimate answers to calculations and looked  at rounding decimals.

– telling the time has been revised and we have been practising how to calculate time durations.

 

Literacy

-Our novel study has been ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’ by Michael Morpurgo and we will complete this after October break.

-In writing, we have learned about similes, metaphors and personification and used them to write descriptively.
