We are looking forward to your child joining our school community on Thursday 18thAugust, 22.
This is Mrs Cuthbertson,
our Primary 1 teacher with our school bear.
Most communication from school is done through our school blog.
You can access it via the school app or GLOW by entering ‘Hurlford School blog’ into google.
Please look for the heading ‘P1 Transition information ( August 2022)’.
You will find in that section weekly tasks for you to complete with your child and more details about transition and starting school.
Important Dates:
- Parents/Carers induction meeting – Monday 6th June (Time: 1.50pm – 2.40pm)
( Pupils will visit their classroom and induction talk for Parents/Carers)
- Bump up day ( P1s visit their class) – Tuesday 14th June Time: 1.50pm -2. 40pm
Parents/Carers drop off and pick up, unless P1s in our current ECC.
- First day of school – Thursday 18th August and Friday 19th August – informal drop off at the door in Early Childhood Playground between 9.15 and 9.45am.
Pick up will be in the infant playground at the dinner hall door at 2.30pm.
Staff will be on hand to direct you.
