Good morning,
Last week we had a very busy week exploring the T-Rex and Triceratops acting as palaeontologists and built a dinosaur skeleton, although it was very tempting to eat some of the midget gem joints. We are also continuing to prepare for the Scots Verse competition with our poem ‘Roguey Poguey’.
Language this week – words and sounds
Nemo – round, found, with , men, who, after, hand, right plus sound igh
Dory – have, just, to and sound j
I have put some activities on Eduction City to support these words and sounds.
In maths we are continuing to count on using a number line to add, we have also looked at adding by bridging 10. See example
9 + 5 =
9 + 1 = 10 then 5 -1 =4 so 10 + 4 =14
Have a good week. Thanks for your continued support with reading and all the above tasks.
