This week we have been working hard on our World War 2 display.  We have been drawing Spitfires (aircraft used during the war) and making model gas masks.  Designing and making our own gas mask boxes was a challenge; we had to do accurate measuring and draw our own nets.  Our gas masks had to fit and we also had to have a strap to carry the box.  At the end we tested our designs to see if they would work.

Some of the work we completed with Miss Little is on display now too.  Here is our Remembrance display of oil pastel poppies and poetry.

… and our Victory Gardens.

In maths, we had a fastest finger first challenge using MSTeams for mental arithmetic.  It was fun!

We have also been learning about the properties of squares.

Today, we took part in an online workshop called Vetastic Adventures; it was really fun and interesting learning about work as a vet.
