Our Financial Inclusion Officer can assist with the following areas of financial hardship:
-Problems paying rent/facing eviction
-Need assistance to challenge a benefit decision
-Ensure you are getting full benefit entitlement
-Looking to get back into work/reducing barriers
-Energy cost issues
-Affordable financial products
The Financial Inclusion Team ensures that the citizens of East Ayrshire can access information, advice and support including the following:
• Income maximisation;
• Welfare benefits advice;
• Welfare benefits representation;
• Money advice;
• Debt counselling;
• Budgeting advice;
• Financial education;
• Advice about affordable and accessible financial products and services.
