P2B – week beginning 28th October

Hi P2B,

We have had another fantastic week. We have been working hard on our place value and addition and revising hibernation and looking at what animals hibernate. Next week we will be looking at extreme weather and we will be doing some science experiments. If possible and if you have any, could you please bring in a large water bottle (1 or 2 litres). This would be a big help thank you.

This week we have been revising “th” phoneme and some common words can you practice these at home using the following activities.

RED group – maths     three    think   thank   this   that   then

BLUE group –  moth   bath  thin   with   it   in   I

Home learning task – Our topic is weather and we are going to look at waterproof materials. Find a range of materials at home and test if they are waterproof.

Have a great day and I will post some of our season tree artwork tomorrow as a few are still to finish,

Miss Baillie 🙂
