P6P Week Beginning 7th September 2020

We have made it to the end of yet another busy week in P6. Well done to everyone who achieved an award this week and to everyone who performed their speech for the vice captain role.

This week in maths we have been looking at perimeter and had the opportunity to measure the perimeter of objects in the class and outdoors. In literacy we have been writing more interesting stories and have been learning about collective nouns. We also started our new topic Forces and Friction and have enjoyed the related activities this week.

HOME CHALLENGE 14/09/20

As part of our new topic we were investigating the forces push and pull around the classroom. Can you look for examples of a push and a pull around your house that you can share with the class next week?

Also, continue to practice this weeks spelling words:

above

across

both

brought

called

change

different

does

enough

evening

Have a lovely, well deserved weekend.

Miss McLeish
