Over the last week in Primary 5, we have been revising our knowledge of Place Value and we were keen to learn more about 5 and 6 digit numbers.
We have also been learning our 8x table which we discovered has a link to the 4x table, making it easier to remember the 8x table facts.
This week, the P5 Numeracy Challenge at Home is to learn the 8x table – especially the fact 7 x 8 = 56, which we discovered was a really interesting fact to learn.
0 x 8 = 0
1 x 8 = 8
2 x 8 = 16
3 x 8 = 24
4 x 8 = 32
5 x 8 = 40
6 x 8 = 48
7 x 8 = 56
8 x 8 = 64
9 x 8 = 72
10 x 8 = 80
Our Literacy Challenge this week will be to learn some of the words which we struggled with during our spelling activity on Monday.
Have a super duper week,
from, Miss Steedman
