Primary 7 – Week beginning 31st August

We have had another positive and productive week in P7.

It was lovely to get outside on Monday afternoon to explore our grounds; we made great use of the hand lenses to examine items close up and had fun collecting minibeasts to study (which we then released back where they were found).

Fingers-crossed we have another dry Monday next week but just in case…. please do remember to bring a waterproof jacket.

In the classroom, we have been revising multiplication methods, creating some optical illusion artwork and having some super discussions about the novel, ‘Dark Isle’.   We also carried out a science experiment to find out how washing-up liquid works.

HOME LEARNING

Please keep reading a text of your choice for 15-30 minutes each day (or longer, if you like!).

Follow the link to see your tasks for Literacy and Numeracy.  The literacy task will help prepare you for writing in class on Wednesday.    LINK – 7th Sept

Remember also, if you are wishing to go forward for the House Captain elections please be prepared with your speech for Tuesday 8th September.

Have a great weekend!

Mrs J
