Some of our Caterpillars are now safely in their cocoons and were ready to be transferred into the net.
We were all very interested to see them and asked lots of questions about what happens next.

At Flowerbank ECC we decided to make May – Share a Smile Month
Last week was Be Kind – children and families were asked to share photos of acts of kindness *** sharing, give a hug, say something nice to someone etc ***
It was lovely to see lots of smiles and kindness
ECO Warriors To The Rescue
Last week our Eco Committee worked very hard looking after our community. Armed with clipboards and litter pickers, off they went to clean up our streets

Our Local Community
As we have been learning about Cafes within our playroom some of our boys and girls went on a little trip down Kilmarnock town to see if we could find any Cafes, it turns out we found 7 on our journey!
The boys and girls popped in to Café’ Koko to ask the lovely café’ workers if they could tell us some of items they serve and how they make them. The staff were lovely and even gave us a little treat of biscuits to take away with us.
During our walk we spotted many other kinds of shops, with some children recognising shops that they have visited with their grown ups

Lending Library
You may have noticed a little change in our Reception area. 😀
We have created a Lending Library Area, these books are available to be borrowed and taken home to read with your child.
We would also happily accept any donations of books that you or your child no longer read. 😁 📚☺️
