Week beginning 14th March 2022:    This week Lindsay was focusing on attention & listening and engagement. 

Week beginning 7th March 2022:    Lindsay started small groups with our 2 year olds observing and  listening to the children during play to gage their language.

May/June 2022 –

March 2022Cherry has been focusing on small group sessions with the 2 year olds with a mixture of Ring Games, Yoga and Story/Song Time.

30th March 2022: Stretch to the stars, flutter like a butterfly, hum like a buzzy bee and crawl like a caterpillar. ⭐️🦋🐝🐛

March 2022 – Stacey and the children have been exploring Yoga & Wellbeing exercises. Children and staff have engaged well, creating a calm and mindful environment.

21st March 2022 – Using puppets to help us talk about our feelings.

We went to Lizdean Care Home on Thursday the 10th of March to sing songs and hand in some art work to the residents 🙂

 

7th April 2022:  Today we went on a special visit to Liz Dean Care Home. We walked down to give the residents some lovely Easter cards and art work we made for them and sing some songs. The staff had created a mini egg hunt for the children and gave them some chocolate treats which are in their bags. We also got to meet the residents dog Cloud 🐶We will be continuing with our visits and hopefully when restrictions are lifted we can go inside and play some activities.☺️🐰🐣🍫🥚

 

NURTURE CHAMPION:

Staff provide daily opportunities for children to engage in rich learning experiences enabling them to become confident learners. Flowerbank ECC is a place where young people can feel safe and secure to explore their emotional and social wellbeing, learn about themselves, develop and grow.

As our young people learn they develop confidence, become responsive to others, learn self-respect and take pride in their achievements.
