Stuffing cheese from head to toes.
Bake it warm, watch it rise,

We continue to March for March! 🙌
This week we have exceeded our goal through exercise at nursery and walks in the community 🚶👏
We have been learning about the effects exercise has on our bodies and are becoming aware of changes to our heart beat before and after exercise ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has been supporting the children, there is still time to donate or share your ‘March for March’ journey at home – we would love to see!
From the Health and Well-being Champions👣
This afternoon we went to visit the Grans and Papas at Liz Dean Care Home. Today was extra special as we got to meet Bear the Therapy Dog.🐶

This week for Maths Monday, Playroom 2 and 3 explored colour matching and sorting through hands-on play ![]()
The children enjoyed grouping objects by colour, matching items together, and talking about what they could see. Through play-based learning, they began to notice similarities and differences while building early maths understanding in a fun and engaging way.

What skills were we developing?
Colour recognition
Sorting and categorising
Early problem-solving
Visual discrimination
Language development (naming colours and describing objects)
Concentration and focus
Fine motor skills
Early mathematical thinking
These activities help build strong foundations for future maths learning — all while having lots of fun!
