As we have been learning about Cafes within our playroom some of our boys and girls went on a little trip down Kilmarnock town to see if we could find any Cafes, it turns out we found 7 on our journey!

The boys and girls popped in to Café’ Koko to ask the lovely café’ workers if they could tell us some of items they serve and how they make them. The staff were lovely and even gave us a little treat of biscuits to take away with us.

During our walk we spotted many other kinds of shops, with some children recognising shops that they have visited with their grown ups

You may have noticed a little change in our Reception area. 😀

We have created a Lending Library Area, these books are available to be borrowed and taken home to read with your child.

We would also happily accept any donations of books that you or your child no longer read. 😁 📚☺️

“Brush brush brush our teeth”

Today we had a visit from ChildSmile, she brought her friends teddy and crocodile with her to show us the proper way to brush our teeth, we have to remember our big back teeth as well as our smile/cheeky teeth.

Eat A Rainbow

Eat a Rainbow Month at Flowerbank ECC.

We would love for everyone to get on board: children, families and our staff!

In the Centre, we will be looking at and tasting different healthy foods (in colour groups) and discuss the benefits of eating these amazing colourful foods.

6-12 March will focus on: Purple, Blue and White foods: cauliflower, parsnips, potatoes, lychees, blueberries, aubergines, grapes, blackberries, plums and beetroot… to name a few.
