Good morning Primary 3/4,
I am enjoying seeing your e-portfolios and reading your emails to me. I have seen lots of your Thankful Thursday comments and they have put a smile on my face 🙂 . I was also very excited to have a FaceTime call with Mrs Conetta and see her beautiful new baby girl , Grace.
We have been out walking around our local area and over our local golf course. They have allowed locals access as long as we stay away from the greens and the bunkers– remember Miss Jaffrey was teaching us about these different golf course areas ? We have seen some beautiful sunsets too, dusk is my favourite part of the day.
Eilidh has been attending her Guides on Zoom. She found it a bit strange at first but she is getting more used to it now. They had a chocolate quiz this week which she was very good at!
Mr Ross and I have a zoom dinner party with our friends who live in London every Friday night. We have enjoyed this so much, and seeing them every week that we have decided to keep doing this even after lockdown has ended. Here is some of the delicious food that Mr Ross made last week.
We have all been playing this new game as a wee challenge . It is called Konpira Fune Fune. . It is good fun and makes your brain think fast ! Euan beat me tonight in our family challenge , can you work out what the rules are? Maybe you could give it a go with your family . Here is a video of us playing .
I hope you are all safe and well and finding time to play, rest and relax with your family.
Mrs Ross 🙂
Hi Mrs Ross
I hope you are well.
Eoin remembers all that Miss Jaffrey told them about golf and all the terminology.
Today we did some work on time where his sister and I gave him lots of challenging questions. He got all of them right – he says he’s the Time Lord! I also gave him some verbal addition and subtraction sums and Emma did them too. We all discussed the different strategies we used to get the answer. It was interesting to see how they worked out the answer.
Eoin also did a bit of Sumdog this week and some conjunction work on BBC Bitesize.
Tomorrow we are planning some VE Day activities. We will try the Morse Code and the comprehension. We will hav our own wee VE Day picnic.
I hope you have a good day tomorrow.
Kind regards
Laura Brown
Sounds like you have been busy again this week Eoin. Thanks for sharing this update on our blog 🙂 Please feel free to send us any photos for Twitter of your VE Day activities
