Primary 3/4 had a great time at their Christmas party this week. They danced, played games and most importantly had lots of fun.

Primary 3/4 have had such a fun week enjoying all things Christmas 🎅🏻 . They watched the Pantomime whilst having a snack. 😊. They also enjoyed working in pairs to solve the maths problems to find out who had one the Christmas present 🎁

P3/4 Learning Division
This week P3/4 have been expanding their knowledge of equal groups and arrays to understand division.
Below we are understanding division by sharing objects into equal groups.
P3/4 Daily STEM challenge
Primary 3/4 are taking part in a daily Christmas themed STEM challenge. Today’s challenge was to work as a team to build a Christmas tree using lego. They had to try to make their tree symmetrical and decorated with baubles. I think it’s safe to say they have all done an amazing job.
P3/4 Massage
P3/4 have enjoyed taking part in some massage this afternoon. This has helped us to feel nice and relaxed especially after all the excitement of our class elves.
P3/4 Children in Need 2021
Today P3/4 have been learning about children in need and contributed to this special occasion by participating in a class talent show.
Congratulations to all the participants, you all worked so hard and are all so amazingly talented. Super stars in the making.
P3/4 One Kind Word- Spreading Our Kindness
Anti Bullying Week- One Kind Word
We have been spreading the kindness all week for Anti Bullying Week as part of their #OneKindWord theme. Today we became kindness messengers and delivered thank you letters to all the staff at Fenwick Primary, thanking them for all that they do for us. In our letters we wrote positive compliments along with a little sweet treat.
In addition we have also seen our own kindness as a class and friendships grow during the week, linking our acts of kindness grow to form a chain.
P3/4 Awareness of Climate Change
This week P3/4 have been consolidating our learning on climate change and organizing our knowledge into the form of a mind map.
Our mind map focuses on 4 important topic areas of climate change:
- What causes climate changes?
- How climate change affects our planet?
- What is COP26?
- What actions can we take to help improve climate change?
P3/4 Outdoor Multiplication
Today P3/4 have adventured outside to reinforce what we have learned in multiplication with equal groups and arrays.
Pupils could select their level of challenge using our chilli challenge system to make equal groups with nature materials found in the playground.
