P3/4 Class Charter

Over the past few week, P3/4 have been discussing their rights as a child and how we can uphold they rights in the class.

To achieve this we have selected 6 important rights to focus on as a class and the pupils have used their creativity to make our fabulous class charter tree display.

Features of our class charter tree:

  • Rights articles displayed in apples
  • Pupils hand drawing to represent leaves
  • Mindful butterflies and bees

P3/4 Rounding Numbers

Primary 3/4 have been recapping on how to round numbers to the nearest ten by using their knowledge of place value and also extending their learning to round numbers to the nearest hundred.

We have been learning through the use of interactive games such as:

  • Rounding to the nearest ten “race around the track”
  • Rounding to the nearest hundred “dice rolling bingo”
  • Rounding using a number line
  • Challenge myself place value worksheets
