Today P3/4 have been learning how to partition numbers using their knowledge of place value.
Pupils have embraced new concepts and went on to challenge themselves to use 4 digits numbers into the thousands.

Has followed the class charter and during activities she always goes above and beyond to challenge herself in her learning.
Being respectful to her peers by helping them and having kind words of encouragement and has also helped others in the school when they have needed help.
Has effectively worked well with others during literacy and numeracy group and partner activities. Always shows enthusiasm to learn new concepts, completing his tasks to the best of his ability and consistently completes early finisher tasks.
Today P3/4 have been revising the key components of place value using ten frames, base 10 blocks and numicon.
We have been working with numbers between 0 to 1000 and practicing how to partition our numbers into thousands, hundreds, tens and units.
