I would like to thank all of the boys and girls for my kind and thoughtful gifts.
It has been a pleasure to be your teacher this year and I wish you all the best of luck for August as new P4s and P5s.
Have a wonderful summer holiday, I will miss you all!
Today P3/4 applied their knowledge of fractions to help complete an outdoor activity.
First we consolidated how to find a fraction of a number using our multiplication and division skills.
Second we worked in teams to help solve chili challenge questions. Pupils could select the level of challenge of their choice.
This week P3/4 have been consolidating the knowledge and skills they have learned this year in numeracy.
We focused on:
Column method
Finding Change
Mental Maths calculations
Division
I would like to apologize for the delay in school photos and letters. School photos and letters will be sent home on Monday 20th June.
My apologies,
Miss Jaffrey
Making memories that will last a lifetime.
P3/4 had an amazing day at The Heads of Ayr Farm Park. We were very lucky to have such good weather ☀️. I think it’s safe to say everyone will sleep tonight 😊
Thank you to all the volunteers and families who came to support the pupils during their sports day.
The pupils had a fantastic time and loved to see their families cheering them on and supporting them to do their best.
P3/4 should be very proud of themselves showing determination to do their best and supporting others by cheering them on.
I would like to remind pupils that we are having our Sports Day tomorrow between 11:00 am – 12 noon.
I would like to remind pupils to come in wearing their sports day/P.E. clothes and make sure they have suitable footwear for running in the field.
Families are more than welcome to attend and cheer the pupils.
P3/4 have had a terrific Tuesday. They were consolidating their learning of capacity and length.
This afternoon we went outside and started to design our dream playground.
