P2/3 were drawing pictures on plates today using whiteboard pens and then poured water on top to see what would happen. We experimented with different colours of whiteboard pens and different-sized pictures.
Some of our pictures floated and some could be peeled off the plate.
This term P2/3 are learning how to write Science Reports as part of our writing. Yesterday we placed jelly beans in hot water and vinegar to see what would happen overnight.
Today P2/3 were learning about a brave figure in history – Rosa Parks. We read the ‘Little People, Big Dreams: Rosa Parks’ book.
The children were shocked while reading the book but were very engaged in discussing equality meaning behind her brave actions and how these led to a change in the rules. courage equality
We had a look at the Rosa Parks US Postage Stamp and designed our own Rosa Parks Stamp.
