P2/3 have started learning all about space. This week we were learning the names of the different parts of a rocket and making our own space rockets!

Science: Foaming and Fizzing Experiment
Yesterday, P2/3 poured vinegar onto sodium bicarbonate to see what would happen. We predicted what would happen and then wrote our own science report.
We learned that carbon dioxide gas is given off during the reaction.

Power Down: Vampire Energy
P1.2 and P2/3 were learning about Vampire Energy as part of their committee this year. Vampire devices are electrical appliances that drain power when left on standby or when they aren’t in use.
P2/3 then designed their own Vampire.

PE: Tennis
Yesterday, P2/3 had their last lesson of Tennis in PE. We used all of the new skills we have learned to play a game of tennis with a partner.
