Today we took part in the East Ayrshire School Sportshall Athletics Event. This took place in Loudoun Academy and gave us an opportunity to visit the school some of us will be attending in August.

We took part with enthusiasm, determination and a competitive spirit. Well done to all our fabulous athletes, especially our only 2 boys on the day who had to take part in every event! We were impressed with your stamina!

We love working with our Primary 1 buddies. This week we have been helping them to log on to the Chromebooks and access their Sumdog Accounts.
We then invited them along to learn some Scottish Dances with us at PE.

We are lucky to have coaches from Kilmarnock Rugby Club coming to deliver 4 x PE sessions throughout November.
Today Adam taught us how to throw the ball from our “pocket”. We learned lots of games to practise this skill. We all thoroughly enjoyed this first session and we can’t wait for next Friday.

On Thursday we entered 2Primary 7 teams in the East Ayrshire Schools Cross Country Competition. We were very proud of our super ambitious runners! They ran 1400m with determination and speed. Well done to them all! There were some busy washing machines after this muddy event!

We had a fabulous day of learning with Mr Wilson who came to teach us how to be Sports Leaders. We developed skills that we will be able to use throughout our lives. We took turns delivering coaching sessions and working together to plan lessons.
Thank you Mr Wilson for giving up your time to work with us, we had a fantastic day!

Tennis
We have enjoyed improving our tennis skills in Primary 7. This week we have been working on rallies and scoring.
