Another very busy week in Primary 6/7.
We are enjoying reading our class novel The Boy at the Back of the Class by Onjali K Rauf
We will start uploading photographs to our Blog once all photograph permissions have been completed.
This week we will be walking through Fenwick on Thursday afternoon as we continue to learn about our School House names. We will visit the churchyard to see the Covenantors Graves and explore the history of the Dunlop, Howie and Fulton families. We will also visit the memorial stone of the last Handloom Weaver in Fenwick – Matthew Fowlds. Please make sure you have completed and returned the EV5 form to Mrs Stark before then please 🙂
After the September weekend Friday PE will move to Monday afternoons with Ayrshire College Students teaching Rugby. We will continue to have PE on a Thursday morning.
We look forward to our parents visiting our classroom on Wednesday afternoon for Meet the Teacher.

What a great start to Primary 6/7
We have enjoyed settling in to our new classroom and creating our Class Charter together- we chose The Simpsons as our theme.
We have been taking part in lots of class and group discussions and shared our ideas about how we would like our classroom to make us feel and what qualities make a good teacher -we compared Miss Trunchbull and Miss Honey for some ideas😁
Next week we will be looking at leadership roles in Primary7 and our Primary 6s will be helping them by researching information about our 4 School House names.
PE will be on a Thursday morning with Mrs Eccleston and a Friday morning with Mrs Ross – please remember no jewellery and long hair tied back.
