Please find attached a copy of the spelling words we are focussing on in class. You know which spelling words you are working on. I have attached a 2 page grid with possible tasks to help widen your knowledge of the words. If you would like to complete your homework in a jotter, please ask and I will provide one. The same grid will be used for spelling over the next few months, so try and vary your task, so you don’t get fed up.  I won’t set a number of how many tasks to complete each week- that can be negotiated at home!

Welcome back!

As we begin our year together, I would like to extend my thanks to parents, carers and the children themselves, for arriving on time and being ready for learning. Everyone looks super smart in their Fenwick uniform- let’s keep up these high standards!
Over  the next few weeks, we will focus on establishing routines and reinforcing our school values to support all children with their learning.
The children have been told when PE  days are- Wednesday and Friday. We are hoping to start this from next week. If the hall is unavailable and the weather is decent, this PE can take place outdoors.

I will be in class Monday – Thursday and Mrs Eccleston will be in Thursday and Friday.
As a school, we will arrange  opportunities for parents  to be involved in learning throughout the year and I look forward to meeting you all then.
I will keep you up to date with photos throughout the year to give you a snapshot of what your child is involved in, once everyone has completed photographic permission.
