To celebrate International Day of Sign Languages, Primary 3 had a brilliant discussion about our experiences with sign language and why British Sign Language (BSL) is important for us all to learn.
We practised some basic signs that will help us communicate better in the classroom and had fun signing along to a pop song.
This week’s reading tasks are on Blooket. The tasks are live for the entire week and I will be able to view your score in the game. Please use your initials or first name when playing so that I can check your results.
Primary 3 learned about the important aspects of creating a strong structure and then took up the challenge of working in teams to create a bridge that would span 50cm and be strong enough to hold a can of soup, using only straws, tape and string.
We have been focussing a lot on identifying our emotions in Primary 3 during these first few weeks. We have also been reflecting about how our energy and emotions can change throughout a day. We now see that a single day can feel so different for all of us.
