Thank you!
As we approach Christmas, we have been hard at work creating our ‘Christmas Through the Window‘ artwork. See if you can spot the finished pieces around the village in the near future! Well done, P3!

Primary 3 took part in a variety of Children in Need activities to help highlight the important work that Children in Need does each year to ensure that children in the UK get their rights met.
Our ‘Challenge 25’ activity was to run 25 laps of the gym hall each!

We took part in the Blooket competition in our House teams. Dunlop were the P3 winners! This helped us learn about exactly which rights Children in Need can help with.

We also took part in a Pudsey bear Scavenger Hunt and played ‘Bear Pong’!

Thank you to the Rights Respecting Schools committee for organising such a fun and educational day!

Primary 3 enjoyed playing ‘The Traitors’ on Halloween. We also had a great time at the Halloween party.

We have had lots of fun over the past few weeks with our Rainforest topic. We learned about different animal species and made our own Macaws.

We learned about different spiders that live in the Amazon Rainforest and made spider webs using art straws and string!

We used QR codes to research a specific Rainforest animals and made posters to share with the class.

Primary 3 have been enjoying some Active Learning in literacy.

This week, Primary 3 successfully made mazes in our STEM lesson. This required lots of problem solving and good communication skills. The class loved watching parents and carers having a go at the mazes at the Numeracy Open Afternoon.

Primary 3 have also been making 3D shapes with Mrs Reid this week using toothpicks and playdough.

To celebrate International Day of Sign Languages, Primary 3 had a brilliant discussion about our experiences with sign language and why British Sign Language (BSL) is important for us all to learn.
We practised some basic signs that will help us communicate better in the classroom and had fun signing along to a pop song.
