Homework w.b. 15.9.25

This homework is set from 15.9.25 – 28.9.25 due to the September weekend.

Numeracy:

Pupils will be shown how to play both of these games in class. Levels of challenge can be altered to suit each child.

Literacy (spelling):

Mild: Sound matching game

Spicy: Fill in the missing words

Hot: Common word quiz

Extra hot: Wordsearch (autumn theme) and Autumn anagram (ey words)

BSL stands for British Sign Language. It is very important for all people to be able to communicate together. Some people cannot hear very well and use sign language instead of talking. Try some of these challenges to help you understand the importance of British Sign Language.

This week’s numeracy homework is in ‘chilli challenge format’. Pupils should choose a level that they feel is a good challenge for their personal progress. There is no requirement for multiple levels to be submitted.

  • Mild – tens and units (under 20)
  • Spicy – tens and units
  • Hot – hundreds
  • Extra hot – thousands
