This Leadership Group focusses on helping us to achieve our action plan set out to achieve our Core Award this session, through the Reading Schools Program. They are responsible for helping to ensure reading for pleasure is a focus within our school and we provide the means for all children and staff to develop a love of reading.
A big congratulations to the winners of our Reading Schools mascot competition. Arianna was the overall winner and her pink dinosaur image will be used! Well done to Arran and Ava for being our runner-ups. Arianna received a book of her choice as a grand prize and all children received a personalised wooden bookmark to thank them for their hard work.

A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who attended our Scottish Book Week Event to celebrate the BookBug and Read, Write, Count bags that were gifted to our P1-3s. Thank you to Mrs Wright for preparing a talk on how reading is done in our classes at Early and First Level. It is always heartening to see a nice turn out to support the school and the work we do with your children. Here are some photos from the event.
