To get us all in the festive mood, we will bring to you every day a digital advent.

During our festive period, everyone within Dunlop Primary and ECC, including all staff, will present a little something Christmas and festive related and this will be shared each day on the blog.

Christmas fun has started in Primary 2! We have had Ella the Elf delivered from Santa this morning and the children are very excited. We also have our nice list up on the door for everyone to see. Each day one of the children will be chosen to open our advent calendar for a chocolate surprise.

Primary 6 used a range of different materials to create Wind Mills. We then tested their designs using a hair dryer to see if they worked or not.

P4 have been learning about units of measure and practised estimating and measuring the length of every day objects in the playground.

Plastics Challenge UK

Today, Primary 7 have been doing the Plastics Challenge. This challenge is to represent things that we can make with plastic. We made piggy banks, plants pots, maracas and much more! We all had lots of fun doing this and made lots of cool things!

Winter Polar Bear Art

To make this lovely polar bear art we used watercolours to make a sunrise effect. We pressed cling film on to the wet watercolours to give the effect on the mountains. We used white poster paint to make the polar bears and we smudged pencil and charcoal to make the polar bears stand out. To finish these lovely polar bears off we adding some glitter to give the polar bears some sparkle .
