Primary 1 have been using their listening and painting skills to create some fabulous paintings from the story Three Little Pigs. The children have loved painting by themselves and also as a team.
Today the children used their own key designs to create 5 and 6 digit numbers before interpreting each other’s creations. Great work everyone!
The childre have been learning about alphabetical order. Today they chose four objects and put them in alphabetical order before putting drawing them in their jotter.
The children had a great discussion about how important maths is when taking part in sporting activities. The children threw javelins and then measured how far they had thrown them.

Primary 5 have been taking part in weekly music lessons. It has been lovely to hear children singing in the school again, as this is something that all of the staff of Dunlop Primary School have missed. Click on the link below to listen to the children perform two songs,
P6 had great fun playing with Marty the robot. They used their knowledge of coding to make Marty walk, dance, light up and speak!
Primary 6 have been learning how to draw using a one point perspective.
For today’s Maths lesson, Primary 7 went outside to do some maths activities. We did a Maths Question Hunt with lots of different questions hidden around the playground. Along with some activities such as Place Value Bingo, a Maths Relay Race and much more. All of us had great fun and we hope to do it again.
