Maths Week The Number 5
During maths week Primary 2 have been learning about the number 5. In class we had a number hunt to see if we could find the number 5 in the classroom.
We then tried to make the number 5 using our bodies in groups.
Finally we used classroom resources to make the number 5.
We have had a lot of fun trying to make the number 5 in different ways. Well Done Primary 2!
Primary 2 Number Picasso
As this week is Maths Week, we have been working on creating our own characters using only numbers! The children had a lot of fun using a range of different numbers to create their own characters.
Here are some examples of some characters we have been working to create.
Well Done Primary 2!
Primary Three Star of the month

Topic: Making Porridge
This week P1 have been reading Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The class have absolutely loved this story and all the activities they have taken part in, especially making and eating porridge.
As it is maths week, this has been perfect for the children. They were able to weigh porridge oats, measure water and cook porridge for the correct amount of time.
The children tried plain, sweet and salty porridge
Plain 9/18 enjoyed “It’s a double thumbs up for me”
Sweet 16/18 enjoyed “That was delicious”
Salt 8/18 enjoyed “I don’t like that one!”
