Talking Time With Parent’s
At our Talking Time with Parent’s session this week, we read a story about shape and the children worked with their parent to create a shape picture. The children then enjoyed a snack with their parent, and then chose one of our story bags to work with their mum or dad to create a story. We finished our session with a nursery rhyme.
Talking Time with Parents
Today was our our first session of Talking Time with Parents. In today’s session we:
- read the story ‘Rumble in the Jungle’
- the children drew a picture of the jungle with their mum’s
- we had toast and milk or water for snack
- the children and their mum’s used their imaginations to make up stories using our story bags
- we finished off the session with a couple of nursery rhymes.
The children were delighted to have their mum’s join us this morning. I am looking forward to next weeks session.
