Class Project

As part of our PATHS programme, primary 6 are tasked with the challenge of developing something within the school to make it a better place. The children chose to relaunch the buddy bench so that children who don’t have anyone to play with can go there to find someone. In groups, the children had to plan a short advertisement for the bench which will be shown in classes. Next week, they will video each scene and the following week will edit their clips.

STEM Fun!

Primary 6 have been reading Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo. Their IDL theme has therefor been around Desert Islands. The children were tasked with designing and creating a small raft which would float on water. They worked well as part of a team and all designs ended up floating!
