Dalrymple P6 21-22

Primary 6 have been reading “The Krindlekrax” and have been using the reading strategies as they read and to help them complete tasks. This week they focused on summarising and created their own visual story maps.

Primary 6 have been learning about the water cycle. They set up an experiment to see what happens as the sun heats up water.

Primary 6 have made collage images of natural disasters.

Primary 6 spent part of the afternoon down in the forest identifying trees using a leaf guide.

Well done to all of primary 6 who tried to perform our Burns’ poem Address to a Haggis! Our overall winner was Jenna and the runner up being Pippa.

Primary 6 spent part of the afternoon outside exploring the outdoors as part of their John Muir Award. They had to complete a series of challenges.

Primary 6 have been working with Coordinates in maths this week. They have had to identify what objects are at certain coordinates and then using coordinates to create images.

Primary 6 planned and recorded information videos about the Buddy Bench. Today they edited these clips and pieced them together with transitions during our ICT block.
