We have been learning the French vocabulary for different objects we use and have in the classroom. At the request of one of the children, we played Kim’s Game to help us revise this vocabulary.
We have been thinking about our theme of the month in PATHS this week – Honesty. To encourage this, we played games as part of our warm-up in PE.
During numeracy we were trying to gauge an understanding of how long a minute felt. We carried out some timed activities which also encouraged honesty against our estimations.
We worked in small groups this week to create our own rhythms using crotchets and quavers. We have worked hard to be able to play the rhythms as a group and will be using the instruments next week with these too.
