Did you know?

Since 2000 lego sets have been worth more than stocks and shares and even gold, with the value (what they are worth) increasing by 12%.  The set which has increased in value the most – The ultimate collectors Millennium Falcon – has increased in value from £342.49 to £2712.00.

This week the children were given a design challenge.  They had to design something they would like to see made from building bricks or lego.  Harry decided he would like to build a robot that produces food from its belly and has a T.V head.  I love this idea, Harry.

One of today’s assignments was to learn to draw with Rob Biddulph on YouTube. Rob is a children’s author and illustrator who demonstrates lots of different drawings for children to copy.

Che has done some fantastic drawings!

So has Luisa, they both watched carefully to draw these fantastic pictures!

Harry got really creative yesterday with our new home learning topic, “People Who Help Us” .  He brainstormed a list of “safe strangers” and talked about what this meant with his Mum.  Harry then made these amazing characters from toilet roll tubes.  Aren’t they fantastic?  Harry now has his own little people he can use to play and “act out” different emergency situations… or he might just keep them as a beautiful art display.  Well Done, Harry!
