Dalrymple ECC 2020-2021

Today we had a visit from Jane at Morrisons Ayr, who donated a book and packet of sunflower seeds to each child to spread hope for a brighter future in light on the pandemic.

Making the most of the milder weather, everyone enjoyed snack outdoors☀🍏

The children have been developing their curiosity outdoors by finding things to look through

We have started planting our vegetable patch, we have planted some lettuce, carrots and peas.

Here are some afternoon children toasting their mallows.

All week we have been busy building and discussing fire safety, today we lit our fire 🔥 and toasted mallows. Here are some pictures of morning children.

My favourite part of the story is when they bring out the memory box and reminisce about old times!
During lockdown I saw lots of rainbows and I took pictures of them all 🌈. The picture today is my favourite picture I’ve taken of a rainbow, it makes me smile when looking at it as it’s so bright and colourful and makes Dalrymple look so pretty even though there is a grey sky.
