Our aim is to ensure that our school continues on the journey of Rights Respecting, that our RRS ethos improves the wellbeing of every child in our school as well as helping them be the best they can be and achieve their potential. The Committee have been extremely busy this term: they have charters for communal areas around the school, they have made Rights posters and displayed around relevant points within the school and helped plan activities for national celebrated days to give peers an opportunity to learn about children’s rights.
In May the RRS group had their meeting to present their evidence for the Silver Award. After going through all the criteria, Crosshouse Primary School & Communication Centre was given the Silver Award! Our banner has now arrived at school and it is proudly on display at the main entrance.
