Literacy

The pupils have been learning about the difference between fact and opinion in literacy this week. The pupils looked at different scenarios and decided whether they felt this was fact or opinion. The pupils also wrote a balanced argument to share both sides of the ‘fast fashion’ argument. 

Maths

P5/6 have started their fractions topic this week. So far they have been able to identify unit fractions, fractions on a number line and  fractions of a shape. 

Other Curricular Areas 

The pupils have now finished round one of their chess championship. Well done to those who are through to the next round and for everyone who participated!
